The story

My friend drove all the way from Colombia in his Mercedes Sprinter 2500 to have it upgraded at Garage Iriki. That is not a typo — from South America, across oceans and continents, all the way to the edge of the Sahara in Zagora.

The plan was simple: add an extra leaf spring to lift the van, boost payload capacity and get it ready for real overland tracks. The stock suspension sits low once you load a Sprinter with water, tools, spare parts and a full camper interior — exactly what happens on a long expedition.

We installed the additional spring pack, checked geometry, torqued everything to spec and made sure the van sat level and stable with its BFGoodrich all-terrains. He drove out taller, stronger and finally adventure-ready — the way a Sprinter that has crossed half the world deserves to roll.
